Zachary Bush is pursuing a doctorate in music composition at Arizona State University, where he earned master’s degrees in music composition and bass performance. He has been commissioned to write pieces for MusicaNova, Harmony Project Phoenix, Charles W. Flanagan High School in Florida, and Santa Rosa Junior College in California. He has collaborated with the Biodesign Institute at ASU.
Zach earned his initial degrees in music composition, music performance, and music education at Colorado State University. He played in the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra and the Fort Collins Wind Symphony.
In the Valley, he has served as principal bass for MusicaNova, ProMusica, and Symphony of the Southwest, and played in the bass section for the West Valley Symphony.
