Dr. Anthony “Tony” Masiello, the owner of Music Masters in Scottsdale, plays clarinet, flute, and saxophone. He received his doctorate in clarinet performance from Arizona State University in 2009. He holds a master’s degree in music from Manhattan School of Music, and a bachelor’s degree in Music from Queens College of C.U.N.Y.
Tony has received awards and grants in chamber music from Artist International, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Arizona Commission on the Arts, and the New York State Council on the Arts. Dr. Masiello is a former public school teacher and has worked for the Washington School District and the Scottsdale School District as a band director and teacher of general music.
Tony is also a member of the West Valley Symphony and managing partner of MMHC Music Publications.
