Kristin Fray has been principal clarinet of MusicaNova Orchestra since 2006. An Arizona native, Kristin received a bachelor’s degree in music from Arizona State University in 2004 and a master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 2006. She earned a master’s degree in health administration from Kentucky in 2015.
Kristin has performed on clarinet and bass clarinet with many ensembles in the Phoenix Area, including MusicaNova Orchestra, Phoenix Opera Orchestra, Symphony of the West Valley, Symphony of the Southwest, and the Four Seasons Orchestra.
As a music therapist, Kristin uses music to relieve pain, anxiety, and provide comfort for terminally ill patients. She lives in Peoria with her husband, Kyle, three children, and two naughty dogs.
