Elizabeth Hanson teaches orchestra in Mesa Public Schools. She has also taught in Alexandria, Va., and Bowie, Md. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Boston University, where she majored in music education and viola performance, and her master’s degree at Boston Conservatory, where she majored in viola performance.
Elizabeth has performed in several of the United States and in Mexico, including with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Mineria, the Orquesta Sinfonica de Xalapa, the Maryland Symphony, the Alexandria Symphony, the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra, the Arizona Ballet Orchestra, and the Musical Theater of Arizona Orchestra.
She is an active freelancer in the Phoenix area.
