Cindy has been playing in orchestras since fifth grade. She joined the Springfield (Mo.) Symphony Orchestra her freshman year of college and played with them for 30 years before coming to Arizona. She joined MusicaNova shortly after getting settled in the Valley. She also plays with the Arizona Philharmonic in Prescott and teaches cello and beginning violin to students of all ages.
Cindy earned her bachelor’s of music and music education degrees at Drury University in Springfield, Mo.
Cindy and her guitar- and mandolin-playing husband, Robert, perform as the duo Ocotillo at weddings, dinners, house concerts, and other events.
