Ethel Harris received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano and music education at Northwestern University. She has performed as a soloist, with chamber music groups, choral and orchestral organizations and has taught piano and vocal music in schools and private studios. In addition to serving on the board of directors, Ethel was pianist of the MusicaNova Orchestra.
She was a charter member and conductor of the Alliance Française Chorale of Greater Phoenix and served on the Board of Directors of the Phoenix Chamber Music Society for more than 10 years. She was pianist for the Tremble Clefs, a choral group of persons and their caregivers living with Parkinson’s disease. With Celinda Anne Levno, she formed the Lumière Duo, specializing in French flute and piano music.
Ethel teaches piano and music education to children and adults for the Arcadia Music Academy and in her home studio.
